The Impossible Search

In a world driven by constant striving, this reflection offers a different perspective:
peace doesn’t come from searching harder—it emerges when we stop feeding the sense of lack.
By quieting the mind and choosing gratitude, compassion, and awareness, we create the conditions for peace to naturally expand. This 3-minute video is a reminder that meaningful shifts happen not through force, but through nourishment.

When peace feels elusive, we search for it, moment by moment. Our hunt intensifies as we try even harder to reach what is just outside our grasp.

Something surprising blocks our path: it is the quest itself. My messengers tell me the pursuit of searching prevents us from receiving precisely what we seek.

When we fuel our desire to catch something, we feed the lack of that wish as we agonize over we do not have.

Remember: what we feed will grow, so feeding the search only fuels more searching…not receiving. Our search drives away that which we desire.

The peace is already here; it is within. It is often so covered by layers of thoughts, obsessions, and to-do lists, that the truth remains hidden.

But to find this truth, we need not seek. It finds us when we quiet our minds and allow this beautiful inner light to shine.

When we feed the energies of gratitude, stillness, and compassion…Peace grows. Embracing these positive states of mind, allows the peace within to expand.

Start small by feeding one peaceful thought each today. Instead of searching for something, allow peace to shine forth into your awareness.

Just for today, turn down the noise. Turn up your awareness. Life shifts not by force, not by searching, but by nourishment, by feeding our souls with kindness, love, humor, and compassion.

Choose wisely what you are feeding.
